Good Morning bloggers!!

Okay...i don't know about all of y'all but where i live it's like 7:40 in the morning!! I'm a little tired but I'll knock out of it soon. So right now I'm waiting for breakfast and...well...that it. Just finished family devotions and now just chillin' now...and typing this blog. we have to dance this saturday!! OMG!

Okay...first of all...OUCH, OW, and...OUCH!!! I just slammed my index finger in the door! OW! That hurt like the dickens! LOL! So anyway...we have a dance to do this Saturday (btw my mom choreographed it!) and i am really nervous...well not REALLY nervous but...nervous. See we also went to see what kind of space we're going to be workin' with...OW MAN! Sorry but my finger is in some SERIOUS pain! Ow it's like stinging...i may have to do this one later, i think i need to get some ice or somethin'...YOWEEEEEE!! Okay...i'll finish this one later...OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

i want to know someone who can SING!

Okay...i know everyone can sing but i mean someone who...how can i put this...can really hold a beautiful note. Boy or girl i wanna really meet some people who can sing. I wanna do the group or duet type if thing but i can't find anyone interested or who have already done it or is doing it right now. I am having a really hard time finding people who can really sing. I want to know a guy who can sing but these days guys would rather rap than sing "That's girly stuff" they would say and it's driving me NUTS!!!

And girls...well the people who can sing have already started a group or would rather go solo and others...well the opposite (not really the best singers if you know what i mean) so...I'm starting to feel a little...i guess you can say...discouraged. I mean people say i can sing...but i need more convincing and plus...to start off...i would like to do it with someone else...for a little while, you know what I'm sayin? So that's my problem...yeah.

I mean even if i do just go solo, i need...i guess they're called "guest" to sing with me...and really people who can sing and people i can work with. And also a lot of people don't think they can do it whether it's singing or whatever.

So...that's really all that is the problem right now. I mean, i wouldn't mind doing a duet with someone, as long as they're dedicated and really want to do this. And i wouldn't mind if it's a guy (really) as long as he doesn't care what his "homies" think. So that's all...i just pray i can find a guy and a girl who can sing and want to do something with it and wouldn't mind doing it with me!

Randomly RANDOM!! LOL

Wuzzap!!! LOL! Just kiddin'! But anyway...how's it goin'? Good? GREAT! I haven't really been up to a lot...but i think I'm just gonna talk and say whatever comes to mind.

Okay...my mom and i are working on this dance to the song "Never Would Have Made It" and an Israel & New Breed Song...we are making it for these teens and some younger kids. It's for this event, i think for, Black History Month. So i think it's going to be exciting!

Also...i have been working on my singing...i guess it has gotten a little better...but...i still have a LOT of work to do.

I am working on choreographing a Hip Hop dance...but the problem is...i don't know what song i want to do! I think i want to do "God in Me" by Mary Mary. And BTW...I really like their new CD! Even though i haven't thoroughly listened to it, i still like the ones I've listened to so far. My favorites are: God in Me, Superfriend, Seattle, Boom...and i think that's it so far.

I also want to join the youth choir at my church...even though I'm not completely certain there is one. But i guess i won't know until i ask.

I have been working on sign language! Oh and i just love it! It is so...INTERESTING! How you speak with your hands! But i have a question...how do deaf people think? I mean if they have never heard someone talk in their life then how do they think...thoughts? I may research that one day. But really though, when people who can hear think, they think in words, sentences...and other stuff like that, so how do people who are deaf think in there head without thinking words? hm...something to think about.

I have also been working on Lexi (my guitar)! Playing the guitar is harder than it looks though! But I just have to get practice n' stuff...and it REALLY needs to be tuned! I sounds to ...dingy...if you know what i mean. Like the strings don't sound right, they sound to...i don't know...they just don't sound right.

Oh yeah! I got this Cheetah Girls book from the library but the girls in the book talked "hip hop" language! So at the end it had the definitions to the different phrases and stuff they used throughout the book! So when i talked to my BFF Taylor and i started using some of the phrases and she was like "This is America...can we speak English PLEASE!" LOL! But sometimes she uses some of those phrases n' stuff to make me laugh, and trust me...she does!

I also got this poetry book...it's called "Hip Hop speaks to children" i love it! I mean, i know some of the poetry may not make as much sense, but it's still interesting (i know i use that word a lot). My friend says i do a good job saying them. Let's see...here's one of my favorite ones

Can you say...JONAS BROTHERS!!

LOL! But the Jonas brothers have a channel on YouTube...but i forgot what it was called...I'll look it up later. Anyways...i just watched this video from them and it was called "You Decide" and people had to decide what Joe Jonas should do...the choices were: Play a 10 minute Conga solo, Shake his tail feather to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" and the last was Wrestle Big Rob! I chose shake to single ladies...and guess what...the other 40 somethin' thousand did too!! So i can't wait to see that! well...that's all i wanted to say...

Enjoyin FACEBOOK!!

Okay this is really random...but i have been really enjoying facebook! Only because a lot of my family and friends are on there and now i can keep in contact with them. And a lot of them i don't see often so...i can stay in contact! People from the churches i used to go to and people who live in DC! So anyway...i really don't know what to talk about but i think imma get back on facebook right now...hopefully someone is online to talk to...

I think the best part about having friends is that sometimes when you fall, friends can be there to lift you back up.

Friends...

This isn't gonna be very long, but let's talk about friends for a second. First of all...i have a lot of friends. Some i talk to on the phone, others i email, and others i see all the time. But the hard part of having all these friends are sometimes you lose them because you don't stay in contact. And sometimes one doesn't feel special, or feels jealous because i'm hanging with one person more than the other. Okay...i'll come back later...

Don't really have anything to say...

Well today i haven't really done much but...no there is no but...i haven't really done anything today LOL. But after this i'm gonna check my email and do some math, and then possibly read, and then i need to get ready for tonight. Tonight i'm going to assist my mom in helping teach some kids a dance to the song "Never would have made it" by Marvin Sapp...and i may see my friend Taylor. So, that's pretty much all i know about what i'm going to do today. So i guess i may talk to you later on tonight or tomorrow...

I am working on playong my guitar!!

So ever since i got my guitar i've been trying to figure out how to work it...but it doesn't really sound good because it terribly needs to be tuned. But for now...it's ok. But i may take it to church on Tues. so i can ask one of the musicians of the church how to tune it. So i think that's all...i'll let my lil' sis get the computer back...
